Vernonscope Dakin Barlows

2 inch, 2.4X Dakin Barlow

This 2" Vernonscope 2.4X Dakin Barlow may be used with telescopes that accept 2 inch eyepieces. This Barlow is made with very high quality glass lens that gives sharp contrast. It holds a 2 inch eyepiece or 2" to 1.25" adapter with a brass compression ring and a set screw. It costs $250.

1.5 inch, 2.4X Dakin Barlow

This 1.25" Vernonscope 2.4X Dakin Barlow may be used with telescopes that accept 1.25" inch eyepieces. It is made with very high quality glass lens that gives sharp contrast. It costs $195.

This Barlow will hold a 1.25' eyepiece, using a set screw.  It has a polymeric set screw, so the screw will not scratch the eyepiece.

1.25 inch, 1.25X Magic Dakin Barlow

This 1.25" Vernonscope 1.25X Magic Dakin Barlow may be used with telescopes that accept 1.25" inch eyepieces. It is made with very high quality glass lens that gives sharp contrast. $128 each plus shipping.

This Barlow screws onto the bottom of a 1.25" eyepiece.  We make one version with threads that screw onto the Brandon eyepieces and another version with metric threads to screw onto non-Brandon eyepieces.


We also make adapters so you can buy the MDB with the thread you will use the most, and still be able to use it on the other thread when you wish.  See the "Adapters" page for details
